Estar + gerund

In Spanish we use estar + gerund to talk about an action that takes place at the time we're talking.

- Estoy hablando con Mónica.          I'm talking to Monica.

- Estoy bebiendo agua.                    I'm drinking water.

- Estoy escribiendo un email.            I'm writing an email.
